Yes, tummy tuck can be done in different ways depending on the patient and the amount of excess skin; First of all, the standard tummy tuck and it is the most commonly performed procedure. Second, extended tummy tuck and last, the full body lift ( front and back skin  removal surgery). Dr. Jaibaji will discuss with you the procedure that fits your body. Mini tummy tuck is an option for patients who have limited excess skin below the umbilicus.

Tummy tuck is a also a procedure for men.

What is Mini Tummy tuck?

Mini tummy tuck is commonly requested procedure. It involves removal of the skin in the lower part of the abdomen below the belly button. The tummy tuck scar is usually much shorter. The belly button can be reshaped and repositioned. Any hernia around the belly button can be corrected at the same time. Liposuction of the waist is usually performed at the same time.

What are the benefits of tummy tuck?

A tummy tuck has both cosmetic and functional benefits. Many women will find that their back pain and urinary incontinence improve after tummy tuck surgery. Reshaping of the belly button is an integral part of tummy tuck surgery. The belly button shape is restored to its normal shape, location and size. In addition, the belly button is made proportional to the abdomen.
